5 Healthy Easter Inspired Snacks

Easter is coming! 😀 On Sunday the 1st of April we are celebrating a festival and holiday acknowledging the resurrection of Jesus. Easter occurs on a different date every year since it depends on the lunar cycles - the date of Easter Sunday is set on the first Sunday after the first Full Moon on or after the March equinox (when day and night are of equal length).

The reason why Easter is called Easter is still unknown but yet some sources claim the word Easter origins form Eostre - a Teutonic goddess of spring and fertility.

On Easter usually the whole family comes together and celebrates the holiday. There is no family celebration without some traditional yummy food like hot cross buns, chocolate eggs and bunnies, simnel cake, glazed ham, walnut roll and many more. Unfortunately those foods are not the healthiest (you can still enjoy them in moderate amounts tho 😀) so I think a few healthy Easter inspired snack recipes will come in handy! Check out my 5 favourites:
